Slight tangent -
There was an article in the Dallas Morning News last week. Intel, a bunch of 
the baby Bells, Motorola...maybe others, I don't recall details, were
going to immplement an upgrade to the phone systems to allow faster 
transmission rate - my memory says 1 Meg. This is to be in 2 years and still
is not local phone just main lines.
Maybe someone else saw this and knows more.
