Maybe not in clinical trials, but I have been wondering if *herbal* 
stimulants could do the same thing as the *prescription* stimulants.
Since I had permission from my psychiatrist to do trial runs, I went for it.
So far:  Ginger root does the same for me as dexedrine.  I have yet to 
try Gotu Kola or Dong Quai.  Of course, it would be nice to see a clinical
trial of any of these herbal stimulants.
After all, if *herbal* stimulants were proven clinically to do the same
thing as prescription stimulants, think of the children who could be helped
without all the unwanted side effects....
