KN> Ya, ok, otherwise people will think I mean the blues band
KN> of Mike Bloomfield, Dr. John and Paul Hammond.
Oh. I don't know this one.
KN>> Zeuhl (Magma, Zao, Wiedorj, Happy Family, Present)
KN> retro feel. They've all moved on a bit since then, but
KN> there still seems to be a retro sound to a lot of the new
KN> 90's prog bands. Even stuff like Happy Family or Volare
 KN> is still sorta retro.
Don't know Volare. About Happy Family, i found a resemblance with ELP
when i listened to Karn Evil Nine this afternoon. (Actually, I found
that ELP sounded like Happy Family ). Maybe i'm the only one who
thinks that.
KN> Tradition has it that though this isn't really prog it
KN> should be allowed for discussion as long as it never
KN> becomes a problem, which it never does. I have a strong
I don't think it's really fair. The latest clone of Our Lady Peace
sounds way more prog than any Tori Amos, which sometimes sounds more
like Trip-Hop (but usually not).
KN> respect for tradition. AFAIC, people can even talk about
KN> Susan Cianni if they want.
Can I talk about Kenny Rogers? (8 tracks in particular)
 MB>> tnx for attention :-)
KN> Tnx for your input. It is always a pleasure to read you.
Every time someone writes such a fragile sentence like this last one, i
am tempted to prove him wrong. How many pages of utter gibberish do you
want in my next reply? :-)
