in the netherlands, ISDN is approx the same as a normal POTS;
we do have monthly costs of 'two' lines, yes. the costs for calling is
approx the same.
further, if you think that USR will be capable of 56k over analog lines....
go get the modems. however, you will be disappointed. there are too many
if's and needs to be capable of running it over your line. most of the USR's
in the netherlands don't even connect at 33k6.
the fact is that ISDN will never retrain since the data is digital. it will
always perform at 64k or 128k.
