Just maize? Try several dishes..parakeet seed, wild bird seed and Purina
crumbles. Also, hen scratch, which is a combination of cracked corn,
sorgum and oats.  Don't give any wild bird seed that has large sunflower
for they can choke. Also, different brands have different seeds. At one
point in history I had about 16 doves in a large flight. Their favorite
was parakeet seed, but I offered several of the others that I mentioned
above.
