I know what you mean...I have a 9 year old daughter(going on 16) and a 13 
year old son(going on22)who are driving me nuts.Every time I get a new 
pattern(which I can't leave alone..I am constantly changing them all the 
time) they want new sweaters or vests or blankets.I swear they are stocking 
up for whenever they leave home.I get immense pleasure from my knitting.Maybe 
someday I will accomplish the task of teaching myself to crochet.
