| subject: | Multi-byte character sets |
GE> What multi-byte character sets are currently used in ftn messages? Absolutly none. You my use multibyte charsetzs on your computer - and the receiver of you mail too. But there is no possible translation of them. No other than you and the receiver using the same editor can read the message. If you're use such codepage it is on you to guarantee the formal message content. A double 0 byte will end the message body. a single byte 01hex is interpreted as kludge - so your multibyte message can#t contain 01hex other than as kludge marker and no 0000hex - both my produce unexpected results in any routing path. --- Sqed/32 1.15/development 829:* Origin: Viele Hunde sind des Hasen tot!
