The result you are getting when using "ARG" is exactly as defined in
the REXX language. According to the OS/2 REXX manual "Procedures
Language 2/ REXX reference" (or any good book on programming in REXX)
"ARG" is a short form for "PARSE UPPER ARG" and will
always convert the
argument to all caps. Use "PARSE ARG" if you wish to maintain the case
of your arguments.
