compression is a form of encryption... it is encryption where the
ciphertext is smaller than the plaintext (because the plaintext contains
redundant information that the algorithm is designed to store in a more
efficient manner)...
besides, pgp's loosing credibility... what with the questionable
redesign of newer versions, the problem with psuedo-collision of md5
which makes the authentication parts of the protocols in the older
versions a little questionable...
