Use 'parse arg' instead of 'arg'. The online documentation ("help rexx
arg") would have pointed out to you that 'arg' is equivalent to 'parse
upper arg'....
It's a good idea for all beginners to read the online REXX documentation
_thoroughly_ from start to finish. Don't feel you need to memorize it
all, but there are a lot of little tricks like this that you can pick up
this way.
