| subject: | Pl/i Construct |
I have a situation that calls for PL/I constructs equivalent to
CSEt++'s _kbhit and _getch. I could write these by calling the
appropriate OS/2 KBD API functions, but I am reasonably sure that one
can write such constructs directly in PL/I if one could only figure out
how to read between the lines of the foot-long hard-copy documentation
that came with the OS/2 "PL/I-Personal" compiler.
Any help will be appreciated. While I have solved my immediate
problem by using OS/2 PL/I's built-in "multitasking" capability, that
seems to be the hard way to do it.
