subject: Java Fido software

Hi folks!

If we're talking about implementing some object oriented Fido software
why not just take Java. Not everybody has Delphi, and Delphi knowledge
is not as widespread as Java knowledge (and, furthermore, I know a bit
Java).

AFAIK, there's not a GNU or freely distributable Delphi5, isn't it? And -
not everybody is running Windows on his machine.
