Actually, Barbara, it works pretty much the other way these days. When a
link breaks on the FidoNet side messages tend to stack up because of it.
Then, when the link is restored all the old mail flows right along with
current posts. It's something that we try to avoid but cannot completely
overcome over longer periods of operation.

Yup, made it here also along with perhaps a dozen others. Today, however,
it took about 6 minutes to bring in the stacks of old posts and a lot of
dupes, now well over a hundred.
All that can be drawn from that is the obvious fact that the system is
functioning as it should. Keep your fingers crossed that it stays that way
for a while!
