Hi Michael,
MW> Hiya Ron.
^
The name is Rod! (unless you get it right I might've missed the message)
MW> You don't know me but The sysop of my bbs
MW> told me that your the guy to talk to about QWK-128.
That's QWKRR128 (I can excuse you getting my name wrong, but no
forgiveness for getting my baby's name wrong :-)
MW> you could see your way clear to send a
MW> copy to Club-64 BBS, on 341 9560, it would be much appreciated.
Shall I send my phone bill to you or Steve ?
MW> Thanks for taking the time to read this.
MW> Hope to hear from you soon.
Well you did hear from me, but I know it's not what you wanted to hear.
The fact is that QWKRR has cost me more to develop than the shareware
registrations that I have recieved from it.
For this reason I no longer go phoning around the country to upload it
to all the BBS's (I did do this with the first couple of releases).
These days, I only upload the latest versions to WOW and let it find
it's own way around from there.
Unfortunately though people in Australia seem to be a bit slack about
re-distributing it. Everyone seems to wait for someone else to do it
for them, and it just don't appear to happen. :-(
I usually upload the new releases to a USA BBS at the same time as WOW
gets it. Over there it finds it's way onto every major BBS in less than
24 hrs !
Anyway, to get a copy (the latest version is V4.2) you can either call
WOW yourself and d/load it, or see if Steve can Freq it from WOW (I
think WOW allows FREQ's), or you can send your rego fee ($20) and I'll
post you out a copy. (Don't forget to ask for a disk copy, else I'll
probably only send you the rego codes).
Cheers
Rod
