You have command-line based WAV players for the Sound Card, right?
In your YELLREQ.MEC file :
[IFTIME] (etc to put it between your paging hours)
[XTERN_DOS] D:\MAX\PAGE.BAT
{yell text}
In PAGE.BAT
C:
CD\SOUND
WAVPLAY your.favourite.wav
D:
CD\MAX
MAX -R
This, in theory, will work as long as you use the proper commands in the .MEC
and paths/program names in the .BAT :-)
I know it's a very kludgy method, and I hope something better comes along,
but that's all I can think of for now.
Oh, possibly find your speaker connection in your PC, and re-route it to one
of the inputs on the sound card, that way normal paging will come through the
card. (Still just as kludgy :-)
Cya..
