ADSL is just a transport protocol, like Ethernet is.  If you're concerned
with security, you should be looking at the software used, what kind of
routing is being done, what connections are shared, etc.  Ask the ISP about
DHCP, if there's a firewall in place and how it's configured, and if
there's a possiblility of IP spoofing.
