I would suspect that your LAN is no more vulnerable than it would be if the
user had installed an analog modem onto their mac, unless the user is
actually routing network traffic between LAN and ADSL connections using a
hardware router or programs likeVicomm's Internet Gateway and SoftRouter,
or Sustainable Softworks' IPNetRouter.

I would add that the risk of a successful attack on your LAN through an
exploit of the users' CPU is probably lower when the user is running Mac OS
(other than MacOSX) than if the user was running Windows or Unix, when all
other factors are considered equal.
