From what I've heard, he's healed, but creative has nothing for him, so they're going to keep him home until his contract expires, so get some use out of him. Hell, have him win (or lose) by DQ on TV, have Eddie cheat to win at the PPV, then have him lose clean to Eddie title vs career on his way out. RVD - pull the angle from last week a week earlier, and RVD goes for revenge for the chairshot William Regal - he could have come back to Smackdown just as easily as RAW, and as a smarmy heel, he would be as good, or better than JBL in the build, and much better in the match Hell, they could have made it Undertaker vs Eddie, with Mordecai costing 'taker the match (if he beat up Paul Bearer, then tripped 'taker and held his leg outside ring for an Eddie 3 count, they would give him monster heat) None of those are perfect contenders, and it wouldn;t hurt any of them to put over Eddie because he's a "higher ranked" wrestler than all but 'taker, who would lose by screwjob. While that match was being built, JBL and Booker would be built by people who it might matter if they pinned like Rikishi, Cena (in competitive non-title matches), Hardcore Holly and whoever isn't being used from my list above.
