Recover CDs usually don't require the key, but a key is still provided with every licence, isn't it? There's a sticker on the bottom of my Thinkpad with the CD key printed on it, perhaps there's something similar on the eMachines box, or in its documentation. Surely any Dell systems in the office would also have come with Recover CDs instead of full Windows disks. But as long as you've got at least one real Windows (XP Home???) CD somewhere, you oughtta be able to use it to get to the console, and it should be legally okay as long as you use the CD Key that belongs to the licence that came with the box you're working on. --dnb --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-4* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/1.45) SEEN-BY: 3/2 10 106/1 120/544 123/500 379/1 633/260 267 270 285 774/0 605 SEEN-BY: 2432/200 @PATH: 379/1 106/1 123/500 774/605 633/260 285 |
