I don't think Vlist is acquainted with copyright law, particularly with
fair use as an exception.  I'm also not aware of a standard having been set
for copyright in Fidonews articles at all.

Felten is the editor of Fidonews but I thought someone else moderated the
echo.  Why does the name Shannon Talley ring a bell?

But you don't need to have a visible presence in the echo to meet either
objective.  Netmail or Email should work just fine.
