The implication was that this affected all the browsers installed on the
box, so looking at the server makes sense. But it shouldn't be an IE thing
affecting Mozilla.
OTOH it would be interesting to try Opera.
IE has a 'show friendly HTTP error messages' check box in Internet
Options/Advanced. It might be worth turning that off for an experiment.
