.. One fine day, Jeff waffled to Dieter.. Hello Jeff, BG>> Dunno about tape backup though, as I still like to live BG>> dangerously here. |-) RS>> Bet its pretty fucked. BG>> Poe has a hand on this stuff. Might be worth asking him. DM> I think Colorado has released an extensive tape back-up software DM> package recently for OS2. Support for al the major tape formats, DM> and for the parallel port versions too. JG> The Colorado software is the same as BackMaster except it says JG> Colorado instead of BackMaster in the appropriate places. from what JG> I've read. I use BackMaster and have never had a problem with it. JG> Others can't even get it working. Interesting. I have two tape back-up options, an internal 60 meg clunker; and one of those parallel port versions. Albeit, both are dated and slow, but is adequate for what I want anyway. The only problem being is that the software packages for both require a native DOS session, and won't run under OS/2 at all. Speed and efficiency would not be a problem if I can get either to run with OS/2, as a background session. Anyway, after I've installed Warp, I'll give this Colorado thing a tryout. Dieter ...
