I truly wish that Heathkit hadn't faded into the history books... I
enjoy kitbuilding, and still have a Heathkit GDO that I built MANY
years ago.  I don't know if my hands are steady enough these days to
handle assembling something with SMT parts or I would consider looking
for a modern kit.
 
But I have a line on a HF tranceiver which needs some work, and I will
be getting that as soon as I save up enough pennies.   :-}
