Hmm, I may know the answer to this. If you mail a package out by just
putting the postage on it and dropping it in the box outside the post
office it WILL NOT get delivered. It will either go to the dead letter
center or it will be returned to you. The reason for this is that this
is the way the Unibomber sent out ALL of his packages. So, now all
packages must go through the window. If a post office down the line can't
tell that it didn't go through the window they will send it back.

Well, I have my Bargello skirt done (wearing it now), although I may have to
tighten the elastic waistband a little bit more. Still have the sleeve to
put on a quilt and the label and I am done with what needs to be done by Aug.
1st. Then I have 3 quilts to do by Christmas for nieces! Oh, yes, and Doris
put in her order for a Bargello quilt to be done by her birthday, January
d!
