     My son has ADD, no H.  It's night and day for him when he's on it.
     I doubt that his system would be telling him not to take it when he
     forgets it, rather that his brain just hasn't kicked in yet for the
     day.
     Especially since this prescription is new to the writer, it's a
     habit, just like any other habit, which needs forming.  Sorta like
     getting up early in the morning for school again after summer
     vacation is over.
