BH>I know how that feels! I have about 21 babies in the bedroom now.
Arrgh! 21 babies! I'd have to move out to make room if that ever
happened here! But I bet it's a riot to have that many different types
of babies to play with.
BH>Soon, I'll have two nanday babies and a "mystery" conure, something I
BH>forgot to label in the incubator. A conure of unknown origin! I fostered
BH>it to the nandays with their babies but really am not sure what it is.
BH>It is probably a dusky but who knows, yet?
With that many eggs, it could be anything! Keep me filled in--I'm
curious now!
BH>Right now I am laughing. Ed is feeding babies on the bed and one of the
BH>little green cheeks is chasing the Yellow Crown Amazon all over the
BH>place, totally fearless of something five times as large as it is.
Sometimes I think they have NO clue of their size. My last Jenday babies
decided to take on the (fortunately mellow and bird-safe) 90+pound
greyhound. He ran, so they chased him! I had to snatch them out of the
air and lock them up for their own safety (and the poor dog just cowered
on his bed looking abused).
BH>Ihad
BH>to put one of the little green cheeks up on top of my head as she is
BH>being a bully to the bigger bird.
Ooooh, you ARE brave, putting a baby bird on top of your head. If *I*
did that, it would guarantee a large wet baby "plop" down my forehead...
