  I can give you a good hint - you're going the wrong way.  You have to take 
the "hard way" using keys and going through the storage area, without 
shrinking once.
  That little shaft is mainly designed for multiplayer games, where someone 
else can shrink you so you can run through.  If you try that, just remember 
to run like heck through that shaft; you don't want to be growing in a space 
that small.
