subject: LF: Antenna Make/Model Info

Evenin' All,
I would like to get make/model information on this unit so I can
contact mfgr for further info. (ie tuning table, replacement parts)
I will have a PCX diagram available (by my grayline Monday eve)
via email request (or on my ftp server on the wknds (see my page at
http://www.qsl.net/kb6lwn for ip addy) or by email request) anytime.
with dimensions, if needed... You can FREQ it @ 1:2003/1 as well.
(file will be "/pub/hamradio/antenna/WHAT_ANT.PCX" on the server)
Here is the description:
Total length (feedpoint tie to top): 314"
Element section Diameter - bottom: 1.25" top: 1/4" solid
Section lengths (bottom up): 37,39,40,27,39,35,44,15,28 inches
Coil placement (measured to top of coil) - L1: 103" from feedpoint
                                           L2: 121" (ditto)
                                           L3: 155" (ditto)
                                           L4: 230" (ditto)
Coil Specs - L1: 1.25" X 4.5" form, 6 turns
             L2: 1.12" x 4.5" form, 12 turns
             L3: 1" x 6" form, 36 turns
             L4: 3/4" x 11" form, 164 turns
All coils are covered with black waxed cardboard tubes with hard
plastic caps, except for top coil (L4) which is enclosed in an alum
tube with plastic caps and the top of tube is connected to top turn
of coil (bottom of tube is insulated from element).
There is a ring of 1/2" alum tube 10" in diameter with two flat metal
supports attached (electrically connected) to the element located
156" from the feedpoint.
The mounting tube (apx 12" x 2" dia) has terminals for attaching
ground radial wires, and is isolated from the driven by a 1.5" tall
round black insulator. The feedpoint SO-239 is mounted to a strut
from the mast tube (mentioned above) and the center conductor passes
through a vertical black plastic cylinder that's ~2" long 3/4" dia
and stands off to the side of the mount/element ~1.5".
If anyone recognizes this configuration and can provide me with
contact info for the manufacturer, I'd appreciate it... If you
have any further questions/info re: this, please contact me off
of the list. TIA & 73
Joyful Seasons Greetings,
                         Bruce - kb6lwn@juno.com - ck@saber.net
