One "fence" should be all it takes for both critters. Actually, all that's
involved is an underground "antenna" that carries a signal current around
your yard. The actual work is done by a shock collar that sends a warning
tone to the animal when thay get close and zaps them when they ignore the
warning and go closer. Different size and power of collars for the dog and
cat. They both work on the same signal. Certainly better than having your
critters shot for trespassing, and a whole lot cheaper than real fence.
