JANE KELLEY was thinking about Add and keyed into cyberspace:
JK>JG> Recently I was diagnosed with ADD with no hyperactivity. I am
JK>JG>on 5mg of Ritalin twice a day but i always forget it in the
JK>JG>morning and get tired and sleep until the afternoon around
JK>JG>lunchtime. Is there a easier ay to remeber my morning dose.
JK>Do you really need the stuff if you are not hyperactive? Is your
JK>system attempting to tell you that in "forgetting" to take it?
Actually, Jane hyperactivity is but one symptom of ADHD. The principal
benefit of the medication is allowing the person to focus on the task at
hand. That is a symptom that is independent of hyperactivity. Even pure
ADDers get that.
JK>I would suggest you get into areas where alternative treatment for
JK>ADD is mentioned and also let me know if you have any known food
JK>allergies.
Are you back to that old wives tale about food allergies? Oh, I forgot,
you are an old wife.
