So does Arabic. And there are "mixed mode" editors that will enter
English text from left-to-right and Hebrew/Arabic from right-to-left.
Enter English characters, it goes one way. Enter Hebrew, it goes the
other way. They even handle stuff like an English phrase in the middle
of a Hebrew line, or vice-versa.
