It turns out that you had the correct dates for the performances of the 
Tattoo,
in spite of the fact that the person who responded to my inquiry at the 
Tattoo 
Office in Edinburgh quite clearly misinformed me.  Two performances are
scheduled daily during the period from August 7-29, although no performances
will be given on the intervening Sundays, i.e.-August 9th, 16th, and 23rd. 
This
information was contained in a brochure sent to me from the Tattoo Office.
In any event, we do appreciate your efforts in our behalf, and when and/or if
we find ourselves anywhere in the London area, we'll try to get up with you
beforehand, and arrange with you to help the economy of your favorite pub at
the very least.
