Graeme, I';ve been using a neat little utility called SP.EXE, available here for freq/download as SETPRIO.ZIP. It allows you to start either a dos or os2 session (windowed or full screen) and set the priority to anything that you desire... very high or very low... and no need for an ini file as everything fits on the command line...
