GOOD POINT! Rich- do you know why MS doesn't? This would seem to be a =
logical thing.

Oh. Question answered.

Yup. Now, if MS offered an inexpensive WinXPHome to WinXPPro =
upgrade.......I'd move all these XPHome boxes to Pro, JUST for the = networking.

      Rich,

This is asked your way, as you have the best method for checking =
this out.

As I understand it, Win2kPro comes with a Client access license =
for
connection to a Terminal Services Server, that does not require a =
CAL on the
Terminal Server (specific CAL for TS), just the appropriate Per =
Server/Per
      Seat server license.

XPHome does not have a TS client license provided, either, as our =
License
Server issues one when a client connects.

The question is, does XP-Pro include a TS Client license as part =
of the
XP-Pro package, thereby not requiring a separate CAL for that =
client on the
      TS end.
