Any UPS worth its salt will :
  a) Have a maximum current or VA rating on it
  b) Have a cut-out to prevent it overloading.
The thing to do would be to build your own with a 12V lead-acid battery,

My fish always seem to be hungry. No matter what or how much I feed
them, half an hour later they seem to be hungry again. I have 2 red
swords and lots of guppies - 3rd generation now! (or is it 4th?!)
Bye for now, Matt.
P.S. Sorry if this is a little off topic!
