I have to admit some moderators are pretty petty, and picky about
their rules.

I pretty much follow the rules and have NEVER been kicked off on ANY
echo. I think sometimes the rules are "too tight" but I pretty much
follow them.

Sure! It's a reasonable request. Since minors can have access to the
newsgroups, we should keep things clean. Some rules will always be
needed. If there were NO rules then there could be a lot of kiddie
porn. Would you like to see that on the net, or would you like to
deprive those people of their right to post that crud? The key is to
have reasonable rules.
