Remember Judge Roy Moore?
While that ugly rock he and his goons put up in the Alabama state house was
paid for by the goons, they put it up in the middle of the night, and when
Moore refused to have it removied, finally the rest of the Alabama Supreme
Court threw Moore out of office.
In his 2005 autobiography So Help Me God, Moore says he has "absolutely no
regrets. I have done what I was sworn to do. It's about whether or not you
can acknowledge God as a source of our law and our liberty. That's all I've
done. . . . I had threatened the philosophy of judicial supremacy. Those
who sat behind benches wearing black robes and wielding gavels did not want
to be reminded that there is a God, or for that matter, a Constitution that
they were sworn to uphold. Judicial restraint gave way to judicial tyranny,
and a new law reigned -- the rule of man."[31]
