Yes, I already have both the max-3.03*tar.gz files, and the cvs download, BBBS is a good package but uses a proprietry msgbase, with "NO" sysops msgbase reader, such as TimEd, MsgEd or GoldEd, and the means used/provided to read the msgbase do not appeal to me in the least. MBSE BBS is a very nice package indeed. The Husky project utilities where under discussion, and all they lack is a BBS for user interaction, with Maximus, which I have yet to compile, and the Husky projects utilities one has a nice BBS setup, possible. One I would dearly have loved to see as a possiblity, that it now has, 2 - 2-1/2 years ago, when I moved the BBS over to Linux. :-)) Russell --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.4.7* Origin: Rusty's BBS - Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa (5:7105/1) SEEN-BY: 206/0 633/267 270 @PATH: 7105/1 7106/22 7102/1 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
