Return of Jafar and Aladdin King of Thieves were _direct to video_ and
were _never_ released to motion picture theatres. The ones that "count"
were released to motion picture theatres. So scratch these two off the
list.
KR> Toy Story
This was a cooperative film with Pixar and Pixar did most of the work
and animation. Officially it's not counted.
KR> CR> 31

KR> Ducktales the Movie : Treasure of the Lost Lamp
The animation product of WD _Television_ Animation isn't counted either.
Sorry. ;-) (Frustrating and picky, iddn't it? ;-) I'm not making up
any of this stuff either.)

KR> The Goofy Movie
Even though this was released to theatres, this was a work of Disney
Animation in France, and is not officially counted.
"Fun and Fancy Free", which just was released to home video in the US
_is_ counted.
What you have to think for this list is Walt Disney Feature Animation
in California and released to film theatres originally and full length
feature animation film. All others officially don't count. I
understand film critic and writer Leonard Maltin has done a book about
Disney films in which "the official list" appears, anyone have a copy
of the book?
This is the list from the late and dearly missed rec.arts.disney

1) What are the Disney animated feature films? Which of the films have
been released on videocassette?
Here is the *official* list, numbered and listed in chronological
order. Other notable Disney films with Disney animation are included
after the list. The factors in what constitutes an "animated feature
film" are the amount of screen time with animation on it, the total
length of the film, the quality of the animation, and what kind of a
mood the person at the Disney studios is in when they make the decision.
