lol - sounds similar but unfortunately I can't pull one of the drives out
as these partitions are both on the same drive.  I suppose I could use
FDISK to delete the offensive partition and then re-install Windows on the
current boot drive (so it then also becomes the system drive?...)  Would
this work?  If so, would the XP "Settings and Transfer" wizard
copy all the settings for my installed apps (so I don;'t have to reinstall
them all again?)..
