The first RULE for this echo is: If you are not a moderator, DO NOT MODERATE.
That said and done.....I *AM* the moderator, and I am not a stickler for 
topical drift, so long as it is in the best interests of scannists talking to 
scannists.  The future of this echo rides on the future of FidoNet.  It is in 
the best interests of the group AND the hobby to seek out the best possible 
means of communicating.....especially in the event something drastic should 
happen to FidoNet or this echo to where it suddenly is no longer available.
I will decide which topics are germane and legit for this echo.  You are free 
to pick and choose among those topics you prefer to read or not.  Don't read 
the ones that do not interest you.  It doesn't get any simpler than than.
Leave the moderating to me....and soon, to my successor.
