   Thanks to Max Eitner and Roy Christopherson UWSA will be in contact on
a national setup. God bless the individual that posted the name and
address of a contact for UWSA in every state along with their phone and a
fax number. Soon CA. will have an office up and running. It cannot be
stressed often enough that it is only through the sharing of information
and ideas on a national basis that will keep UWSA a vaiable force in the
body politic.Nationally we played a major role in exposing the discharge
petition and here in Ca. the passage of A.B.1624.

   The Kasich-Penny lost because of massive pressure not just from the
White House but also from the chairmen of committees and the speakers
office. A whole batch of Dear Colleague were sent out threatening the
hell out of those that would dare vote for an amendment that would
actually cut deficit spending! Imagine the nerve of an elected rep. that
would actually vote for what his or constituency wanted and against the
old guard in WASHINGTON!!. Why the next thing you know those damned fools
outside WASHINGTON just might start demanding some sort of accountability
from those they elected. Perish the thought!.                        drjm
