Pardon me, but Opus wasn't designed to recognize high speed modems such as
28.8 or 33.4 ....
Here's something that I whipped up from the helpful hints and suggestions
that the folks here in Meadowland gave me.
set fd=c:\newfront
c:
cd\opus1
set opusbaud=%1
if %1 == 33600 set opusbaud=38400
if %1 == 31200 set opusbaud=38400
if %1 == 28800 set opusbaud=38400
if %1 == 26400 set opusbaud=38400
if %1 == 24000 set opusbaud=38400
if %1 == 21600 set opusbaud=19200
if %1 == 16800 set opusbaud=19200
if %1 == 12000 set opusbaud=14400
opus door1 -b%opusbaud% -p%2 -t%3
I took my bbs (Opus, naturally) down since I am a Hub and am running a DTP
biz at home. If Opus ever gets upgraded and is Windows aware, I will
probably put it back up. If not, no sense trying to use an ancient software
to get users. It's old, man, it's old. ;)
