I do not know how many million of the darn things were made.
They used a 28 ga. shotgun shell firec by an inerntia pin to
ignite 4 pounds of coarse black powder to make a white smoke
spotting charge. The body was filled with sand, gravel, crushed
rock or whatever was available locally. Not a "Smart" weapon.
