The New Orleans chapter of the National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC), the
club for Disneyana enthusiasts, will hold its regular meeting Sunday,
August 3, 1997 from 2 - 5 pm at the home of L. J. and Nancy Songy in
Destrehan, Louisiana.  Destrehan is a suburb of New Orleans just west
of the New Orleans International Airport off of Airline Highway between
New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
Our meetings are a great deal of fun!  We serve a pot luck lunch,
exchange news of Disney generally and Disney collecting, meet new
Disney fan friends, and share views and news of Disney theme parks,
movies and Disneyana conventions.  Many of our members are headed to
Walt Disney World the week of Labor Day for the Official Disneyana
Convention and will likely be discussing the plans for attending
that event.
We welcome guests to our meetings!  So do feel free to come if you
reside in south Louisiana or south Mississippi or if you will be
visiting in the area.  If you can't make it, you can request to be
on our mailing list for the next meeting, the first Sunday of
October (we meet on the 1st Sundays of every other month at various
members' homes).
