Hello Steve,

Has the one who shall remain nameless given you any heat?

Caused problems for you?

Should you ask I'll withdraw from your BBS rather than post the
odd post to that other echo.

It's in pretty severe decline in any regard with just a few
opinions of much interest to me anyway.

Your BBS just doesn't interface for QWK out of the box well with Linux.

I'd bet a Knoppix release of this same O.S. would work just fine
as they preconfigure much to the generally accepted standards.

Slackware Linux leaves a LOT to be custom configured.

It has the advantage of being able to be optimised to your ultimate
goals and desires in how it operates but it can introduce stumbling
blocks.

BTW my ancestry came through Austrailia at one point starting
out in Scotland and arriving in Autrailia in somewhat the accoustomed way
back in the day.
