He's really good with that. There's a couple of others who are as well.

CDP is something used mostly in the Z2 area and only parts of it but it may be
in use silently elsewhere. You can only tell if a person adds the actual flag
to their nodelist and then if in use you have to have somethin like a ZPK (zone
point Keeper) or RPK (region point keeper) to tell if it seems to be used.
It's pretty much an automated point setup. In a similar concept, SBBS sets you
up automated for their own DoveNet which you can expand from.
I do not know if it is dialup only or more expanded. It does on check show to
be in current use. For some odd reason it was left as a proposal for EONs and
should be a standard IMHO. There is nothing else like it and it's been in use
for a decade or so.
Note that making it one does not stop another from making something similar.
We have mailer types and CDP for this purpose becomes a 'Connection Assistive
tool' which can be documented.
