-=>I distinctly overheard Wendy Apgar say to All<=-
Wendy,
WA> I've had cards and a few other items at the local consignment
WA> shop, but it is small and new there so nothing has sold yet.
WA> Mom had previously bought brown paper bags and white manilla
WA> envelopes for me to decorate. I turn the envelopes into gift
We bought some white bags at Sams, and they make pretty bags, too.
WA> I also have been making money here and there selling my
WA> cards. In addition I've offered a service of mailing
WA> cards out for people for birthdays, anniversaries, encouragement
WA> etc. I have been doing that for several of my friends and
What about checking with large companies to see if you can do this
service for them? Small comapanies may not want to put the money
out for it, but a larger co. might.
WA> I'd like to know if you think this ad is sufficient for
WA> "Are you tired of forgetting birthdays and anniversaries?
I think this is a wonderful ad! It says it all, and explains
everything well.
WA> So what do you think? Should I change anything? Do you
WA> think my prices are reasonable? Usually I sell my cards
WA> for $2 each.
I think these are good prices. We usually pay $2 or more for
plain, generic cards.
WA> Thank you for taking the time to listen, pray, and share
WA> with me. You are valued!
Wendy, you are valued too! I wish I could make the cards as pretty
as you do. Mine just don't look "professional" like yours! I
really admire you for persevering like you do, and using your creative
outlets so well. You're an inspiration to me, and I'm sure, others
too.
WA> ... Money, the root of all evil. Send $20 for more information.
Cute! Swiped! :)
take care,
Wanda
... I started out with nothing. I still have most of it left.
