I use 30 pin simms. My motherboard can handle up to 64MB in various mixes.

That's exactly how I use it. Multiple open apps. Let see, at the moment in
the 'Window List' there are 11 apps open. That doesn't include multiple
windows for one app. It does include Sqed. None of them are major apps like
AmiPro or 123 though.
