G'day Bill,
On 11-04-95 21:34, Bill Grimsley said to Jeff Green
JG>> Oh, I don't know. It runs quite smoothly here with 12MB.
BG> Yeah, I forget about 72-pin SIMMs, and keep thinking in multiples
BG> of 8Mb.
I use 30 pin simms. My motherboard can handle up to 64MB in various mixes.
JG>> I am looking at buying another 4MB soon so I'll be able to let you know
JG>> the difference (if any).
BG> Unless you switch between multiple open apps, I doubt the
BG> difference would be all that noticeable on a reasonably fast
BG> system.
That's exactly how I use it. Multiple open apps. Let see, at the moment in
the 'Window List' there are 11 apps open. That doesn't include multiple
windows for one app. It does include Sqed. None of them are major apps like
AmiPro or 123 though.
Regards...Jeff (jeff{at}grntrs.dialix.oz.au)
... As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.
