After a week off doing some major planning for the TNA website,
everyone's favorite nerd next to Brian Gerwitz in the wrestling
business is back with another edition of The Bank Shot. There's a lot
to talk about this week, so let's get you caught up with the news and
notes.

This Wednesday night's show looks especially strong on paper, with the
NWA World Title on the line when AJ Styles faces Raven. Add to that
the first match in the Sonjay Dutt vs. Amazing Red series and the
World X Cup preview match with Team NWA vs. Team Canada, and you've
got three potentially great matches right there. Plus, Michael Shane
and Shane Douglas will face off for the first time, as well as a
special treat with a ladies match featuring Trinity and Desire.

Speaking of Trinity, I learned from the femme fatale last week that
her former college alma mater in New York is planning a big event for
Trinity's return to the school for a special speaking engagement.
According to Trinity, she's even bringing in her own special effects
technician to add some pyrotechnics to her entrance. We hope to have
more details on the appearance in the next week or so.

Starting this week, our one-hour syndicated Xplosion show will be
getting a renovation of sorts. We are now going to feature some of the
tremendous live photos from the website on the program each week,
taken by our very own webmaster Lee South. Each week, Lee captures
some great moments on film and we finally have the opportunity to
showcase his talents on Xplosion. To see if Xplosion airs in your
area, CLICK HERE.

Xplosion has also finally started airing on Comcast Sports Southeast,
which is available to millions of homes in - yes, you guessed it - the
southeast United States. Xplosion will air 10PM ET on Tuesday nights
on CSS.

This past Saturday, TNA took part in a huge charity event in downtown
Nashville for a local children's hospital. Jeff Jarrett, James Storm,
Michael Shane and Chris Vaughn were all on hand to sign autographs for
attendees, which probably numbered around 20,000 people. The day also
featured stunt bicyclists and singer Lee Ann Rhymes, who is still one
major hottie. The footage of the event will hopefully show up on TNA
programming, and we plan on doing more major events like this in the
future as well. Special thanks go out to TNA newcomer Brad Bernstein
for setting this all up.

There's a lot of rumors going around the internet right now about some
potential big news upcoming for TNA. All I can say is...keep watching.

There were rumors spreading in TNA last week of a possible "Band Aid"
type charity concert to help feed the hungry. But in the end, we all
decided to just pitch in and buy Vince Russo a cheeseburger instead.

I finally got a chance to watch Kill Bill, Volume 1 the other night
along with Tim Welch, and I've got to say it's possibly the best movie
Tarrantino has done yet (if you can stomach all the violence). I
definitely never pictured Uma Thurman as an {at}#$ kicking assassin, but
she pulled it off well. I highly recommend it. Now if I only had the
time to see Volume 2....

TNA's next line of DVDs are already underway, with the first release
being the "Ultimate X Collection" featuring Ultimate X1 and 2 as well
as the Super X Tournament from 2003. The DVD following that will be
the "Best of TNA in 2003" followed by a DVD dedicated to the Americas
X and World X Cup events.

For fans in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, NwaTna.com will be
running a contest in conjunction with Time Warner Cable in the next
few weeks for lucky fans to win pit passes for the NASCAR Coca Cola
600. In addition to rubbing shoulders with the NASCAR elite, you'll be
able to meet and watch the race with Jeff Jarrett.

Sinn will appear on the National Geographic Channel on Sunday May 9th
as part of the "Taboo" series. "Taboo: Extreme
Entertainers" features
the Carnival Diablo, a circus sideshow which Sinn has worked for in
the past. The episode, which originally aired in January, features
Sinn having darts thrown into his back. Sinn performed the same stunt
on TNA several months ago. Check your local listings for air-time.

TNA management has been thoroughly impressed with Sabu since his
return to TNA a few months back. It looks as if Sabu has that fire
back in his belly, and he's gone all out in some recent great matches.
In addition, Sabu has also contributed backstage to helping out some
of the younger talent.

Jonny Fairplay will be appearing on ESPN's "Cold Pizza" this Monday,
although we are still wrapping up all the details for the show. In
addition, the former Survivor star and current TNA personality will be
doing a national radio tour that day in cities such as Orlando,
Memphis, St. Louis, Sacramento, Phoenix and many more.

That's it for this week - enjoy Wednesday's Pay-Per-View

Bill Banks
